| Xishan Group slashes thermal coal price - 18 Nov, 2008 | ||

Xishan Group, the leading enterprise in domestic coal industry, has announced recently that they have cut CNY 500 per tonnes on prices of their coking coal, fat coal and cleaned coal since Nov 1st 2008, which stay at CNY 1225 per tonnes, CNY 1290 per tonnes and CNY 830 per tonnes respectively now. The company said that the price cut would take CNY 430 million away from the annual sales revenue of this year. An analyst in this sector said that that coal price cut would ease the cost pressure on coking, melting and power industries, besides, coal enterprises should control production by sales and make readily marketable products to adapt choppy market. | ||
