According to related statistics of the custom, Taiwan's import of seamless steel pipe of October 2008 was 8,408 tonnes.
Japan and China are the two main export countries, accounting for 1,350 tonnes. And the import price from China, Japan and Germany was TWD 42,640 per tonne, TWD 47,590 per tonne and TWD 714,720 per tonne respectively.
Besides, Taiwan exported 1,350 tonnes of seamless steel pipes in October as well. And the export price was averaged at TWD 73,424 per tonne.
