| Taiwanese rebar export prices on upward trends - 02 Jul, 2009 | ||
|
It is reported that Taiwan's market for rebar rebounded last week, affected by the rising scrap and billet price. As per report, Taiwan's export price of rebar to Southeast Asia was sluggish a few weeks ago due to the price being too high, but currently, the export price is around USD 510 to USD 515 per tonne. Due to the higher global scrap and billet price, buyers must accept this price. Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Myanmar and Brunei are the main destinations of the exports.
