| Hyundai Steel settles H2 scrap price with Japan - 04 Jul, 2009 | ||

It is reported that Hyundai Steel has purchased Japanese H2 scrap at JPY 25,500 to JPY 26,000 per tonne for July to August 2009 shipments. It also bought Japanese Shindachi grade scrap at JPY 28,000 per tonne. Before Tokyo Steel increased their four steel plant's scrap purchasing price on July 11th 2009, Korean buyer's bid price of Japanese scrap was similar to the scrap price in Tokyo Bay.
