| Iranian state owned mills see 3pct increase in crude steel output - 10 Mar, 2010 | ||

According to the new figures published by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, the Iranian state owned steel sector produced 9.75 million tonnes of crude steel in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year up 3% compared with the same period of the last Iranian year. Meanwhile, Iranian private sector steelmakers produced about 400,000 tonnes of crude steel in the same period, not showing much change YoY. (Sourced from Steel Orbis) | ||
